1. tell us a little about yourself- Well my name is Brian (B-Beck), I'm 22, PuertoRican & White. Most humble person you will ever meet. Very outgoing, love having a good time, been thru a lot, on the rise but know where I came from. Love music with a strong passion, enjoy playing sports, hanging with the fellas & just str8 Clownin on everything.
2. how did you get started in beat making- I got into beat making forcefully in fact. I started off as an Artist, rapping & Singing. I could not afford to buy beats from everyone so I was like "yo, Im about to try to do this for myself" I am a drummer myself and I played piano so I figured it could not be 2 hard so I just kept on perfecting my sound and working hard at it, and here I am today!
3. what are your goals for this year and the next upcoming 5 years- My goal for this year is to land ONE MAJOR placement, meaning I plan on getting a beat to Trey Songz, or Bobby Valentino, Or Travis Porter or any major artist. I havent thought about 5 years from now but of course I see myself in the Music Industry living a very good life doing what I love doing.
4. any major labels or people buying beats- Right now the production team I am apart of "Str8 Bangaz Productions" we just landed a Beat/Placement for Travis Porter so we are blessed and will continue to work on projects for various artists. The song is called "Broke Niggaz Make Me Sick"
5. Do you plan on making this your career- I do plan on making this my career. This is the definition of me. This is what I live to do, what I long for, and what the good Lord blessed me with. I love every second doing what I do and I know with the Lords help and vision, I can and wont fail.
6. What did you go to NY for and did you win anything when you were there- I actually went to NYC just go and experience the life over there, simply amazing. Prior to going to NYC, I got word that my beats were going to be used as back round drops in various MTV shows like Jersey Shore, Real World, etc.. As far as winning something, I did not, but we did get selected to be on the MTV show called "Seven" which we were studio audience, lol Oh & Never buy a beer in NYC, so expensive.
